Fundraisers

Sunnyside's PTO fundraisers help support many wonderful programs for our Sunnyside students and their families!

PTO hosts the Scholastic Book Fair twice a year!

Every item purchased gives Sunnyside Elementary credit to purchase books. Last year we were able to make close to $3,700 in books for the school library and teacher classrooms.

This is a great opportunity to get books for your child, add to the school library, or just get inspired about reading!

Sunnyside Move-A-Thon

The Move-A-Thon has replaced previous fall fundraisers so that all money can come directly back to Sunnyside and be 100% tax deductible for those donating.

That’s My Brick Fundraiser

The walking path was installed at the start of the 2012-2013 school year. It has served as a great tool for PE activities, as well as recess fun, fundraising (Move-a-thon) activities, field day, community use, etc. We have teamed up with "That's My Brick", an organization that specializes in the personalization of custom bricks. Our goal is to provide Sunnyside families with the opportunity to purchase a brick that will be installed into a permanent patio configuration. The first group of bricks were installed this spring. Purchasing a brick is a great way to leave your mark and support your school. For more information click here: That'sMyBrick
